04.05.2023 Mainz, the investment company Afinum has acquired a majority stake in the ITecon Group. The ITecon Group, consisting of the two companies ITecon GmbH and ITecon Financial IT-Service GmbH, is a highly specialized provider of data centers and IT services in the field of critical infrastructure. Due to the increasing demand in the market for data centers with extraordinary security requirements and the excellent positioning in this segment, the ITecon Group has experienced strong revenue and profit growth in recent years. Afinum plans to expand ITecon Group together with Hartl Group into a market-leading platform for cloud and data center services through a targeted acquisition strategy. The M&A consultancies CARL from Berlin and SGP Schneider Geiwitz Corporate Finance from Munich exclusively advised the owners of the ITecon Group in the investment process.
